Welcome to Trace

Trace is a browser that remembers what you read and can act on your behalf. It indexes every page you visit with AI summaries and vector embeddings, builds a personal memory of facts about you as you browse, and lets an AI agent carry out multi-step tasks directly inside the pages you're looking at.

What makes Trace different

A normal browser forgets everything the moment you close a tab. Trace treats your browsing history as a knowledge base:

• It remembers pages, not just URLs. Every page you visit is indexed with its full text, an AI summary, and a semantic embedding, so you can search it later by meaning, not just by title.
• It learns who you are. Facts about you, like your job, your interests, and things you're currently working on, are extracted automatically from what you read and say, and used to make the AI sidebar and skills relevant without you repeating yourself.
• It can act, not just answer. The navigation agent can fill in forms, compare prices across sites, and complete multi-step browsing tasks by describing what you want in plain language.
