Spaces

A Space is a shared workspace: a place to put things from your own browsing and work so a team can see and search them together, instead of everything staying locked to one person's local memory.

Creating and joining

Anyone can create a Space, just give it a name. To join one someone else created, use the invite code they share with you. If you're part of an organization, you're added automatically to that organization's own Space, no invite code needed.

What's inside

A Space has six tabs:

Sharing something into a Space

From a page, document, artifact, or highlight, choose "Share to Space" and pick which one. It becomes visible to everyone else in that Space immediately.

Search that includes shared content

Once something is shared into a Space you're in, it's indexed locally alongside your own memory, so asking the AI a question can draw on what teammates have shared too, not just your own browsing.

Roles

Each member has a role: owner, editor, or viewer, controlling who can add content versus who can only view it. Organization-provisioned Spaces manage membership through your organization's roster rather than manual role assignment.
