The Research panel is where longer, structured research work lives, separate from a quick chat question. Open it from the Agents panel's Research entry.

Threads

Your search history is clustered into threads by topic automatically, so related searches from different sessions end up grouped together instead of scattered across your history.

Open questions and insights

As you research a topic, Trace surfaces open questions worth following up on and insights it's already pulled together from what you've read.

Research tasks

Give Trace a goal and a list of URLs, and it visits each one, extracts what's relevant, and synthesizes a single answer across all of them, useful for anything that requires reading several sources to actually answer.
