Connectors (MCP)

Settings → Connectors lets you add external MCP (Model Context Protocol) tool servers, extending what the AI sidebar can reach beyond Trace's built-in skills.

Adding a connector

A connector is either a local command (run over stdio) or a remote server (reached over HTTP). Once added, its tools become available to the AI the same way built-in skills are.

Removing a connector

Any connector can be removed from the same panel at any time, immediately revoking the AI's access to its tools.
