Smart Calendar

The Smart Calendar pulls events straight out of the pages you're reading. Open the Calendar panel from the nav sidebar, click Extract from page, and Trace reads the current page, identifies dates, times, locations, and event titles, then saves them directly to your calendar.

Views

• Month grid: a familiar seven-column month view with colored event chips, a "+N more" overflow indicator for busy days, and today highlighted.
• Schedule view: a date-grouped list with a colored stripe per event and metadata like time, location, and the source page it came from.

Creating events manually

A quick-create form is available inline for adding a title, date, time, and location without leaving the calendar. Each event gets a deterministic color (drawn from a fixed palette) based on its ID, so the same event always looks the same across views.

Events persist locally and survive restarts.
